Random shots fixed up with Lightroom

January Blood Moon

All of these shots were taken with ISO 100 and a tripod. The "multiple moon" shots were the combination of about 20 or more single shots taken with the same settings, cleaned up in Lightroom, then exported to Photoshop to combine and move in some kind of curve pattern. Its pretty labor intensive now as PS and LR need about 12G RAM min to operate and I have 4G on my laptop

This shot(s) was a Photoshop combination of 2 shots. The 1st was a tripod ISO100 with flash from my backyard to get the tree but he moon at that point was too bright with no definition so I took one of the other "blood moon" shots and pasted it on top of the crappy moon....work in progress

My new 300mm lens helped with the clarity on this shot. Converted to b&w and added some vignetting to the edges

Used the gradient filter tool to darken the trees near the top left

This shot took a bit of time to post fix. Using lightroom I used the brush tool and removed the color from all but the tree and its branches
